This website presents a sampling of recent images created for a number of different purposes. The scenes are as viewed through a camera, without extensive post production manipulation. My intention is always to present and interpret the subject, not define it through extensive after the fact revisions or insertions of other elements. While digital photography has made its firm imprint on any professional photographer, I continue to rely on an assortment of film and digital cameras to capture the way I see things. Ultimately, I view the selection of equipment as a more of a proactive statement than a reactive choice. The camera hardware used to capture the image affects my relationship with my subject. This provides the framework for exploration, and the restriction on reality.
